However, Salmons decided he did not want any part of it. According to his agent, Joel Bell, “Upon reviewing the basketball situation in Toronto, John decided it’s not the best fit for him.”

According to Billy King, 76ers president & GM, the rumor that had Allen Iverson going to the Denver Nuggets is false. However, let’s back up just a moment here. Iverson going to the Nuggets makes a lot of sense. The “rumor” said that the big boys in 76ers management vetoed the deal. Apparently the 76ers would get Kenyon Martin in return for Iverson.
