The Denver Nuggets and Nene have agreed to a six-year, $60 million deal. The deal went down on Sunday. At the time, Nene was on his honeymoon in Brazil—his homeland. The deal was brokered by his agent, Dan Fegan. Apparently, power forward Nene was more than excited with the news. Fegan said, “Ecstatic couldn’t be too strong a word.”

The Denver Nuggets feel they are close to getting into the NBA Finals and their actions of late prove they are willing to do what it takes to get there. The Nuggets have spent a fortune of late and they will most likely be entering the luxury tax arena. The Nuggets are sitting in a great position. They have locked up young and proven talent. Hopefully Nene will be able to stay healthy.
