The Detroit Pistons are up against the wall, down 3-1 to the Miami Heat. There is no room left for soft play. Each and every Piston player must step up and have a great game tonight or they are done for the season. Detroit has shown the ability to step it up when pushed, but this series has called their overall ability into question. Should they have not shown up last game? They lost by 11 points.

Sure, the Pistons came back against the Cavs, but this is the Miami Heat. The Shaq/Wade combo is proving to be just too much. It has a stunning resemblance of the Kobe/Shaq duo in LA—without the troubles. Currently the Miami Heat are 5.5 point underdogs and you have to wonder why. All they have done is dominate the Pistons and take a 3-1 series lead. This sports gambling spread appears to be too much and that’s why I am taking the Miami Heat.

I am looking for more of the same out of Miami. If the Detroit Pistons are to win, it’s going to take all they have and I think it could come down to the last shot. I love getting 6 points tonight. In game 2 on May 25th, the lone Pistons win, Detroit only won by 4—92-88. I don’t buy the idea that Miami will rest this game and try to close it out in Miami on Thursday. Pat Riley is going to want to end this series and give his team plenty of rest for the finals. Shaq can use all the rest he can get.
