The Miami Heat are looking to tie the series in tonight’s game 4 of the NBA Finals. In game 3, they staged one of the greatest comebacks in NBA playoff history. The Dallas Mavericks let off the gas pedal in the fourth and the Heat came storming back. Around halfway through, the Heat had a big lead and most people probably turned off their televisions to watch something else.

The Mavericks went over the game in their heads and on TV in the off time and are ready to attack. Just like in the Phoenix series, the Mavs got a wake up call and if history is any indicator, they will bounce back and respond tonight. Should the Mavs win, they will take a commanding 3-1 lead and be in good position to win their first ever NBA championship.

The Miami Heat are a one point favorite in tonight’s game. The over/under is set at 190. The over is even money and the under is -120. There is still a series bet open at most sports books. The Dallas Mavericks are -400 on the series. The Miami Heat are +300 on the series. The big question tonight will be Dwyane Wade. He was injured in game 3 and had to be wheeled over to his post-game interview.

If Dwyane Wade is not 100%, the Heat are going to suffer. His dramatic performance in game 3 is what kept the Heat in the game. It sure doesn’t look like he will be his normal self tonight. Still, if you are looking for an interesting prop bet, here’s one for you. The current line on the total assists, points and rebounds for Dwyane Wade is 40.5. The over is -110 and the under is -120. Think about that for a moment. You know he will probably get 10-12 rebounds and assists combined. That leaves 28.5-30 for points. He scored 42 last night and 23 in game two, which was on the road.

Game 3 was the first pretty exciting game of the Finals. Even though it was damaged a little bit by the Mavs meltdown, it sure made it exciting. Tonight’s game should be every bit exciting. I expect the Mavs to bounce back and take care of business. If the Heat can win with a not fully healthy Wade, we have a series on our hands. It’s going to be spectacular.
