Maybe it’s just me, but the first round of the 2007 NBA playoffs haven’t been too exciting. Sure, if you’re a fan of one of the playoff teams perhaps. But, overall the games have been lackluster.
The one standout serious for me is the Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks. It’s been electrifying. Last night’s victory—Golden State—was magical. I found myself yelling and getting all worked up. I can’t say that for any other series.
I’m not a Warriors fan, but I can’t help cheering on Golden State. They are up 3-1 now and it looks like the Mavs—previously the best team in the NBA—will go home.
Speaking of the playoffs, has anyone seen the Miami Heat? I went to pick up some food and when I came home, they were out of the playoffs. It was nice of them to put on their jerseys for the crowd.
I’m confused. Are the Bulls that good now or are the Heat a has-been NBA team?
The second round should be a little better. We’ll see better basketball—I hope. Before I go, I’d like to thank the LA Lakers for showing up—once. Way to go. Yeah, having the Lakers in the playoffs instead of the Clippers was much more exciting.
