Dallas pulled out the game, because they were able to regain control of the pace late in the second half.

At one point Dallas got trapped in a run and gun game, which favors Phoenix. As a result, Phoenix erased the Dallas lead and went up by 7. Game 5 really illustrated just how important the pace of the game is to the outcome. Dallas was favored by 7 last night and they covered it thanks to Phoenix faltering in the closing minutes of the game. Dallas now leads the series 3-2 and is one game away from reaching the finals—a goal of the organization for years now.

Game 6 will be tomorrow in Phoenix and the game is currently at a pick-em at most Las Vegas and Internet Sportsbooks. If the series keeps following the trend, Phoenix should come out on top. While tomorrow will be an elimination game for the Phoenix Suns, Dallas will be under pressure as well. They are now up 3-2 and if they fall short of the finals again, it will destroy the franchise.
