The Dallas Mavericks and Indiana Pacers have agreed to a trade. The Dallas Mavericks are going to receive point guard Anthony Johnson. In return, the Indiana Pacers will receive point guard Darrell Armstrong, power forward Josh Powell and Rawle Marshall. These two teams are getting used to working with one another. It’s the second deal between the two this month.

For the Mavericks, adding Anthony Johnson gives them depth. They needed someone to fill a third point guard spot and Johnson fits the bill. He’s basically been a backup type of player his whole career. This deal is not a blockbuster by any means, but it does help the depth of both teams.
