What are the best seven teams when it comes to winning close games? With a little research, I’ve found seven teams that have winning percentages in games that finish with three points or less between the two teams playing. Are you ready to be surprised?

1. New York Knicks – They are 5-1 (83.3%) in games decided by three points or less this season.

2. Cleveland Cavaliers – They are 6-2 (75%) in games decided by three points or less this season.

3. Orlando Magic – The Magic have played the most close games of any team in the group. They are 8-3 (72.7%) this season in close games.

4. Miami Heat – The Heat are 5-2 (71.4%) in close games, but they are a terrible 4-13 in games where one team wins by 10 or more points.

5. Toronto Raptors – 5-2 (71.4%) in close games.

6. Utah Jazz – The Jazz are 5-3 (62.5%) in close games and a healthy 11-6 in games decided by 10 or more points.

7. Portland Trailblazers – They are 6-4 (60%) in close games. They are a perfect 8-0 in games where they led in FG percentage.

The next time you’re betting on a game you think will be close and that involves one of these NBA teams, keep this in mind.
