Ben Wallace has made the deal to Chicago official by signing the contract. This will be a huge loss for Detroit. Chicago is licking their chops and waiting for next season. Wallace stands at 6 feet 9 inches. He is a defensive menace. If Chicago does indeed improve their defense, they stand a shot at going further in the playoffs in 2007.
There was already a rivalry between these two clubs. The move from one to the other is going to throw fuel on an already burning fire. Look for plenty of fireworks next season. Circle the games between Detroit and Chicago on your map next year. They will be exciting to watch. Wallace was happy with the move. According to him, “I think the Bulls right now, we’re right there. We can challenge anybody.”
